DALLAS, AUGUST 12, 2022 – Ben E. Keith Beverage, a leader in premium beverage distribution, will celebrate its over 200 warehouse team members throughout the week of August 14th. With ten distribution centers in the state of Texas, these hard-working individuals in the warehouse departments are responsible for over 40 million cases of product per year. From offloading trucks to inventory to building palettes and re-loading onto trucks, the business starts and ends each day in the warehouse. According to Vice President of Operations Jon Thompson, “This can be a strenuous job and it requires tremendous attention to detail for both safety and order accuracy. Our warehouse teams are consummate professionals, and their daily hard work and dedication are impressive.”
Employee appreciation and recognition are top priorities every day at Ben E. Keith Beverage, but this is a week designed to be particularly special. In addition to the standard provisions of waters and re-hydration beverages provided daily, each branch has a week of fun activities planned, from giving out catered meals and grab-n-go snacks, to distributing Visa gift cards and conducting raffle drawings for fun prizes, cookouts, food trucks, and bowling.
