In 2006, Ben E. Keith, a privately held company employing over 3500 associates, celebrated 100 years of distribution excellence in the food service and beverage distribution business.Associates of the Ben E. Keith Company are marked by their loyalty and dedication to their company. This is evident in the fact that a large percentage of our employees have worked their way up in the company with tenure of twenty years or more. Our values stress a commitment to our employees, as they have been and will continue to be our strength and the key to our success.
We recognize that our workforce reflects the increasingly diverse nature of our society, and we want to take advantage of every opportunity to utilize that diversity with both our customers and our associates. Ben E. Keith Company consists of a Foodservice Division and a Beverage Division. The foodservice division operates six distribution centers strategically located to service eleven states. Currently, we are the 9th largest food service distributor in the United States. Our beverage division operates eleven distribution facilities serving Anheuser-Busch products to 59 counties and several craft/import brands statewide. Currently, we are the third largest beer distributor in the nation.
