Position Summary and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a bright, detailed-oriented HR Coordinator with outstanding problem solving and communication skills to join our HR team at the corporate office in Downtown Fort Worth. In this position, you will help organize, coordinate, and carry out a variety of human resource department duties, projects, and processes. This position will assist the Human Resources Department to fulfill a variety of necessary HR tasks, including pre-employment processing and onboarding, 
 
Typical duties include:
·      Redirect HR related calls, distribute correspondence or mail to the appropriate person on the team
·      Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
·      Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, and assisting with the drug screen process
·      Assist with new hire pre-employment processing
·      Perform employer verification checks
·      Assist with DOT Driver Qualification files
·      Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain the team’s agenda
·      Respond and assist with internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
·      Perform orientations, assist new hires with onboarding, and update records of new hires
·      Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
·      Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, such as collection of employee feedback
·      Provide employee documents to Risk and Legal as requested
·      Provide clerical support to the HR department
·      Assist with reception phone coverage
·      Perform other duties as assigned

·      Excellent time management skills, organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·      Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability
·      Highly organized, detail-oriented, efficient, and skilled at multi-tasking
·      Knowledge of human resources operations and best practices
 
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
·      Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience, a minimum of 2+ years required
·      High level of proficiency Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, and charts)
