Position Summary and Responsibilities:
Ben E. Keith has an exciting opportunity for a customer experience minded technologist that has experience with defining and building a modern, digital workplace experience. The ideal candidate will bring a wide breadth of experience configuring and implementing end-user technologies and the tools required to support a diverse end-user community. A day in the life of a Digital Workplace Engineer could include activities such as:
- Working as a Level 2 or Level 3 support resource for complex problems
- Acting as a mentor for junior staff and Division IT support teams
- Continuous improvement activities associated with Office 365 suite configuration
- Driving adoption of the Office 365 product suite through technical actions and interpersonal activities such as webinars, lunch & learns, video vignettes, or other user-friendly guidance
- Leading migration projects associated with converting off of aging technology
- Defining standards and developing automation within the Windows end-point ecosystem
- Evolution and adoption of security controls required to maintain a secure environment for our clients, vendors and associates
- Working with local and remote team members to improve the user experience as it relates to the end-user technologies deployed
Job Qualifications:
- Expert level knowledge with the administration of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products
- Deep knowledge of endpoint configuration management tools such as Kace, SCCM, Intune or similar
- Advanced knowledge of endpoint protection platforms such as Microsoft Defender, or similar
- Expert level Microsoft Teams VoIP implementation/configuration and tuning experience
- Proficiency with design/configuration of security controls at the end-point layer
- Experience configuring and managing A/V and/or digital signage environments
- Analytical problem-solving skills to minimize the impact to the business
- Aggressive self-starter, with an aptitude for learning and teaching in a team environment
- Exemplary communication skills, written and verbal • Relevant Certifications are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science related field highly desired
- Seven plus years of experience in an end-user technologies engineering role
