Michelob Family

Introduced in 1896 as a “draught beer for connoisseurs,” Michelob was served only on draught in the finest retail establishments. That did not change until 1961, when Michelob was introduced in a bottle with a distinctive teardrop shape and gold-foil shrouded neck. Michelob is brewed using the most expensive ingredients available, including a high percentage of two-row barley malt and imported hops.

Michelob quickly became the pre-eminent super-premium U.S. beer and has made history as one of the best selling beers ever. Michelob is made with a high percentage of 2 row barley malt combined with 100% imported hops to produce a mellow taste.

This beer has a wonderful golden color, classic European Noble hop aroma and a taste that is slightly sweet with tantalizing notes of toasted grains, with a nice hop finish.

Michelob Light

Michelob Light was introduced in 1978 as the industry’s first super-premium light beer for consumers who prefer a full-bodied, rich-tasting beer with reduced calories. It is the only U.S. super-premium light beer.

Michelob Light is made with a high percentage of 2 row barley malt combined with 100% imported hops to produce a smooth and snappy taste.

Michelob AmberBock

Michelob AmberBock is brewed using all imported hops and only the finest dark-roasted barley malt and rice, which gives it a unique, rich amber color and smooth, full-bodied taste.

Michelob Shock Top Belgian White

As an unfiltered Belgian-style wheat ale, this beer is naturally cloudy with a light golden color. The beer is best enjoyed in a tall, wide-mouthed glass. To serve the brew perfectly, follow these pouring guidelines. Pour the brew down the side of the glass until about one-half inch of brew is left in the bottle. Lay the bottle on its side and roll it gently back and forth, mixing the remaining yeast that has settled at the bottom. Pour the rest of the brew, producing a nice, thick collar of foam.

Best With: Shock Top Belgian White pairs well with fresh salads, chicken dishes and Asian cuisine.
