Ace Ciders

The California Cider Company is owned by Geoffrey House, the man credited with initiating the national cider renaissance. Utilizing his insider’s view of the cider industry, he took more than two years to develop the Ace Cider. House, owner of the second largest specialty beer and cider marketing company in the US, began importing ciders into the US in 1986. Since then he has seen explosive sales growth, as hard cider has moved beyond specialty beer and liquor stores and established itself on the supermarket shelves as a new drink category.
With Sonoma’s superior apple juice giving Ace Ciders their great fresh taste and House’s expertise and in-depth knowledge of the hard cider business providing a marketing edge, CCC is beginning to take a dominant position in this increasingly significant new beverage market.

Ace Apple

Ace Cider is California’s first commercially produced and distributed cider, is taking advantage of the blossoming national “hard” cider market with a distinctive California cider made in a specially-designed micro cider mill in Graton, just outside Sebastopol. The California Cider company (CCC) is benefiting from Sonoma’s tradition of providing high quality Gravenstein and other varieties of apple juice.
Ace Apple, CCC’s flagship brand, is made with 100% pure, local apple juice giving it a fresh, natural taste and setting it apart from most other brands (not using 100% juice). Ace cider is gluten free.
Ace Pear

Ace Perry Cider is a new premium fermented cider produced by The California Cider Company (CCC) in the Heart of Sonoma’s Apple Country. It is not only California’s first commercially produced and distributed pear cider, but, by all reports, the first made in the U.S.A.
The second Ace Cider to come out of the specially designed micro cider mill, in Graton, just outside Sebastapol, is an innovative complement to Ace Apple, CCC’s flagship brand. Like Ace Apple, Ace Perry is made from a base of 100% pure, local apple juice. Pear juice is added to give the cider its distinctive pear taste; a taste so fresh and natural it is already proving as popular as its more traditional counterpart. Ace Cider is gluten free!
